Here is my tribute to Bruce Campbell. For those of you who do not know, he is the guy from the Evil Dead movies and the show Burn Notice. My husband is a huge fan, so it was only a matter of time before this commercial made it into my blog.

A while back, Bruce Campbell did a few Old Spice commercials. This is one of them. It features Bruce playing the song “Hungry Like A Wolf” on a piano really slow, as if he were in a posh restaurant or club, although his tie is undone. There are lots of women around him that he plays to. As he plays, the women get closer and closer to him. Some even start touching his hands as he plays. The idea of the commercial is the women get attracted to him because he smells good because he is wearing Old Spice.

The Lesson of The Day: Some people feel that Bruce Campbell is a god and we should worship him. Just read some of the comments left for this video on YouTube. So, having him in a commercial will make his followers watch it, but will the buy the product? I am sure a few of the viewers might have been unsure about Old Spice and decided to at least try it, believing if Bruce Campbell uses it, it must be good. In that case, the commercial was a success. Commercials typically boost short-term sales of the product, so even if the new customers do not stay, the commercial did its job.
